World Blood Donor Day (WBDD)

The purpose of the World Blood Donor Day (WBDD) is:
a) To raise awareness of the need for safe blood and blood products,
b) To thank blood donors for their voluntary, life-saving gifts of blood (saving lives and improving health)
The campaign theme is "One Drop of Humanity". We encourage everyone to be part of the humanity by donating blood which is equivalent to giving someone a second chance of leaving.
